Herkunft: Die reinen Gattungen kommen im tropischen Süd- und Mittelamerika vor.

Kultur:
  • Topfkultur
  • Kork (aufgebunden)
  • temperiert (Nachts 15-18 °C; Tags 20-28 °C)
  • warm (Nachts 18-22 °C; Tags 25-29 °C)
  • sonnig

Tipp: in den Sommermonaten leicht schattiert auch im Freien zu kultivieren, zwischen Tag und Nachttemperatur sollten 5 Grad Unterschied liegen.

Pflege: Im Winter hell bis sonnig, im Sommer leicht schattiert. alle 7 Tage gut gießen oder tauchen, keine Staunässe!

Temperatur: 14-22°C; von Mai-Sept. mit jedem 2 Gießen düngen.

Diese Pflanze ist in ca. 18 Monaten blühstark und wird nicht blühend im 9er Topf in Rindensubstrat geliefert.
